British YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly has been found not guilty by a jury of raping a woman in an Australian hotel room in 2024.
The 30-year-old, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was, however, found guilty of two charges of assault occasioning bodily harm over bites to the woman’s neck and breast.
During an eight-day trial at the District Court of Western Australia in Perth, prosecutors alleged Barrientos assaulted the 20-year-old woman in his hotel room while touring Australia in September 2024. She cannot legally be named.
He denied all charges.
A jury on Friday acquitted the rapper of three counts of sexual penetration without consent, an assault charge over an alleged slap, and a choking charge.
Jurors were unable to reach verdicts on three further counts of sexual penetration without consent.
Giving evidence during the trial, Barrientos said he had given the woman “love bites”.
“There was kissing in between; I would give her a love bite and then kiss her,” he told the court.
“I don’t recall any blood.”
The YouTube influencer also denied that the woman had told him to stop or that he was hurting her.

The prosecution argued the woman withdrew her consent after fearing for her safety, despite initially agreeing to have sex with Barrientos.
The Colombian-born entertainer was arrested several days later in the eastern city of Brisbane.
Western Australia’s courts confirmed the verdict was returned on Friday morning local time, following jury deliberations that began on Wednesday.

In her closing statement on Tuesday, prosecutor Danielle Clarke said Barrientos was an “entitled man” with a “moderate degree of fame”.
“What could have been and should have been consensual sex quickly escalated into sexual violence and a non-consensual nightmare,” Ms Clarke told the court.
Barrientos has appeared on several BBC shows and is known for collaborating with the YouTube collective Beta Squad.
The rapper has appeared for England on Soccer Aid and The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer on Channel 4.
He hosted the BBC series Hot Property and Munya And Filly Get Chilly with comedian Munya Chawawa, a spin-off show of Freeze The Fear With Wim Hof.
Barrientos remains free on bail until the case returns to court on August 21, when a sentencing date for the assault convictions will be set.
Prosecutors will also decide whether to pursue the three charges on which the jury was unable to reach a verdict.
