A content creator traveled to Turkey to undergo plastic surgery

Millie Thompson documented her trip abroad, during which she got work done to her eyes

In an Instagram post about her recovery, Thompson claimed that her recovery happened in two weeks

Influencer Millie Thompson is sharing an unfiltered look at her plastic surgery journey.

The content creator recently revealed that she had plans to fly to Istanbul, Turkey, to undergo plastic surgery, and she has not been shy about showing the results of her procedures.

On Instagram, Thompson, who traveled alone, shared that she underwent an upper blepharoplasty and an enhancement called a fox lift, which addresses the outer corners of the eyes and brows.

Her goal was to have the surgeon address the excess skin on her eyelids that made her eye area look "heavy and puffy."

"I'm in my 30s and I've been living with this long enough, so I decided it was time to fix it," she shared in an Instagram post documenting her travels abroad.

In that same video, Thompson showed her surgeon taking out her stitches. Despite the bruising and swelling, she said that she was happy with the results, which will fully settle in the next few months.

"I have to sit back and trust the process and wait to see the final results! Really pleased with how well I am healing and how amazing everyone has been to me," she wrote in the caption.

In a follow-up video, Thompson showed an unfiltered look at her recovery, documenting how much her wounds had healed over the course of 15 days. The clip started off with Thompson's face covered in what appeared to be tape.

By day nine, Thompson can be seen with less coverings around the surgical area. Further into her recuperation, there appears to only be slight scarring on her eyelids.

"It's been a really quick recovery process with no pain, it's just been slight headaches here and there! I've had minimal swelling and bruising. I have lost a few stitches...," she captioned the post.

Surgeries such as the ones Thompson underwent typically take a few weeks to heal.
