After attending the rescheduled White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner on Friday, July 24, Karoline Leavitt shared a post on Instagram. The 28-year-old White House press secretary posed in a blue jumpsuit alongside her 61-year-old husband Nicholas Riccio.
However, while MAGA supporters took to social media to praise Leavitt and her WHCA dinner remarks, netizens slammed the press secretary. Particularly criticizing her choice of outfit, people also called out Leavitt for her allegedly manipulative remarks.
Karoline Leavitt Trolled for Her WHCA Dinner Fashion
As White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt shared her images alongside Donald Trump and her husband Nicholas Riccio from the WHCA dinner event on her Instagram; people started mocking her.
While on X, MAGA supporters praised Leavitt, calling her “most beautiful” and admiring her as the “best press secretary,” several netizens still slammed the 28-year-old in the comments.
Taking a dig at her fashion choice, social media users wrote, “What in God’s green earth is that woman wearing? Some sort of 70’s rejected jumpsuit it looks like.” Others mocked, “That is the ugliest outfit I have ever seen.”
Some even wrote, “Ew. I am sure Mrs. Brady is eager to get her wardrobe back.” Netizens even joked, “I didn’t realize she was 50. Wow.” Others went as far as to say, “The outfit is hideous just like she is.”
A commentator even wrote, “Elvis had a jumpsuit like that and wore it better!” X users added, “She’s so old-fashioned.”

Donald Trump Praises Leavitt’s Work After Calling Her ‘Nasty’
Meanwhile, amid criticism over her wardrobe choice, Karoline Leavitt earned praise from Donald Trump. During the WHCA dinner, while Trump called her “nasty,” he also praised her dedication.
“She can be nasty, but sometimes she has no choice. Karoline may have one of the hardest jobs in the White House; she has to deal with all of you, all of the time, and you can be very difficult!” Trump said.
Further, the president took a moment to congratulate Leavitt on her return to her duties following her maternity leave, after giving birth to her second child. The press secretary attended the dinner as Trump’s companion.
After first lady Melania Trump and Vice President JD Vance skipped the rescheduled WHCA dinner because of prior commitments, Leavitt accompanied the president to the July 24 event at the Waldorf Astoria.
