Parker Finn’s horror remake involving Robert Pattinson just assembled a cast that changes everything. The Smile director’s supernatural thriller added several new names to an already stacked ensemble.

Madeline Brewer, Emory Cohen, and more join Parker Finn’s Possession remake

Madeline Brewer, Emory Cohen, and Nicholas Alexander Chavez have boarded Paramount’s remake of Possession, according to Deadline. They join an ensemble that already features Margaret Qualley, Callum Turner, Paul Dano, and Diego Calva. Meanwhile, Parker Finn directs the supernatural thriller from his own screenplay.

Furthermore, Finn produces with Jonathan Fass under their Bad Feeling banner for the project. Roy Lee and Andrew Childs produce through the Vertigo banner as well. Robert Pattinson also serves as a producer on the film, while Marc Bienstock takes on an executive producer role for the remake.

Notably, the 1981 original follows a woman whose behavior grows increasingly unsettling after she seeks a divorce from her husband. What initially appears to be infidelity gradually reveals itself as something far darker and more terrifying than expected.

In terms of the new additions, Brewer rose to prominence through her standout performance in The Handmaid’s Tale. She most recently starred in Lionsgate’s Anniversary with Kyle Chandler, Phoebe Dynevor, Diane Lane, and Zoey Deutch. She additionally appeared alongside Penn Badgley in the fifth and final season of Netflix’s You.

Similarly, Cohen was last seen in A24’s Marty Supreme, starring opposite Timothée Chalamet. On the other hand, Chavez garnered significant praise for playing Lyle Menendez in Ryan Murphy’s Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. He went on to reunite with Murphy in Grotesquerie, sharing the screen with Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, Lesley Manville, and Travis Kelce.

Currently, CAA, Entertainment 360, and Schreck Rose Dapello Adams Berlin & Dunham represent Brewer. Range Media, Verve, and Jackoway Austen handle representation for Cohen. Additionally, CAA, Untitled, and Felker, McGinnis & Ryan represent Chavez.
