The band's 2025 tour made an estimated £300 million
After weeks of posting teasers on social media and underneath the Manchester sky, Oasis have confirmed a second leg of their smash hit reunion tour for summer 2027.
The band will return to the scene of their legendary 1996 gigs at Knebworth House to play four nights at the 125,000-capacity venue in September next year.
They will also play a 11-night residency at the home of their beloved Manchester City in June, after kicking off the tour with five gigs at Glasgow's Celtic Park in May.
The announcement dropped on Monday afternoon alongside a new trailer and photo of the band. "Start the celebrations!" said a message on the band's social media.
"After a period of reflection, 'The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History' has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people.
"Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold."
Oasis will return to Slane Castle in County Meath, Ireland, for two dates in September, after performances in Europe in July and the US in August.
The newly confirmed dates mark the next phase of Oasis's comeback following their acclaimed 2025 reunion tour, which made an estimated £300 million at the box office.
A new ticket registration process, similar to that used for Glastonbury Festival, has been launched in a bid to avoid the noise and confusion of last time around.
The registration period began on Monday with the announcement and closes at 16:00 BST on Thursday 17 September.
In the UK, tickets will go on on sale across Friday 25, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September.

Singer-songwriter Noel Gallagher recently teased the band's 2027 return - after a year off - telling TalkSport: "There must be something happening."
He added: "Well, let's put it this way: there's no football tournament on next year, so we've got to do something in the summer, right?"
The band then posted a series of cryptic videos on their official social media channels appearing to tease gigs across the UK and Europe.
This was followed by a drone display outside the Etihad Stadium last week, pointing to Monday's announcement, as well as something similar in Rome and gig posters on the Paris Metro.

Manchester City fans the Gallaghers played a string of shows together at the Etihad Stadium in 2005, almost a decade after two famous nights at their team's old ground, Maine Road, were caught on camera for a concert film titled There and Then.
A few months after Maine Road, the band played to 250,000 fans on the grounds of Knebworth House in Hertfordshire over two nights in August 1996 - shows that are regarded as Britpop's crowning moment.

More than 4% of the UK population applied for tickets to see the Gallaghers perform, alongside the likes of the Charlatans, Manic Street Preachers, The Prodigy and Chemical Brothers.
Speaking at the premiere of a Knebworth documentary film in 2021, Noel said Oasis had had "no fear" about the magnitude of the shows, adding that if they were to do it again now they would be "petrified".

The band's 2025 comeback got off to a shaky start before an E minor chord was even strummed, with fans criticising the ticket sales process after being asked to queue for hours, with some finding themselves having to pay hundreds of pounds more than they expected.
The fiasco triggered a UK government response. Following an investigation by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), Ticketmaster agreed to several voluntary changes, including telling fans 24 hours in advance if a tiered pricing system is in use and giving clearer information about ticket prices while people wait in the queue, as well as not using misleading ticket labels.
Demand and expectation were huge among fans, old and new. But the band delivered, with the BBC's review saying they hadn't sounded so good since the 1990s.
Mid-way through the world tour, Noel told TalkSport that he and his bandmates had been "blown away" by the response to their return after 16 years away.
Last week, another emotional documentary chronicling the tour - and featuring the reconciled brothers' first joint interview since their acrimonious split in 2009 - was released in UK cinemas, following its premiere in Venice.
In it, Noel confirms the band is "not a power struggle any more".

Renewed interest in Oasis recently saw their second album (What's The Story) Morning Glory? officially overtake the biggest-selling album by their heroes The Beatles in the list of the UK's most popular albums of all-time.
And Wonderwall, from that album, became a bittersweet England World Cup anthem this summer.
Excitement for Knebworth has been growing for years - ever since it was rumoured to be on the itinerary for Oasis's 2025 tour.
Earlier this summer, it emerged that the band's promoters had applied for an events licence that would cover the Knebworth gigs.
Other big artists to have performed at the grounds of the listed country house venue include Led Zeppelin, Queen, Sir Paul McCartney, Metallica and, in 2022, Liam Gallagher as a solo act.
Oasis made history over two nights in 1996, but in 2003, Robbie Williams beat their combined attendance record by playing three consecutive nights, drawing a total crowd of 375,000 people.
That record now looks set to be broken again.
This is history - as Noel once put it - now repeating itself.
