Meghan Markle will reportedly make a sweet gesture for Prince Harry on his birthday.

The Duke of Sussex will turn 42 on Tuesday, September 15, marking his first birthday back in the United Kingdom since relocating from California.

Following his exit from the British Royal Family, alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, Harry has spent the majority of his birthdays away from his home country. In 2020 and 2021, the Duke enjoyed the day in Montecito, where he owns a home with the Duchess. In 2022, he was in the UK, devastatingly, around the time of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II's, state funeral.

In 2023, Harry was away from his family home once again, spending the day in Dusseldorf, Germany, while he attended the Invictus Games.

For his milestone 40th birthday in 2024, Harry initially enjoyed a quiet celebration at his Montecito mansion with Meghan and their two children. He followed the family gathering with a celebratory solo getaway in the mountains with a group of his closest friends.

Last year, he enjoyed the day in Montecito, following a brief, solo four-day trip to the UK and Ukraine. However, this year, he is believed to be celebrating the day in the Cotswolds, England.

Ahead of his 42nd birthday, former royal staffer Jack Stooks, who worked at King Charles' Highgrove House for 20 years, spoke exclusively to The Mirror US.

Jack delved into what the royal may do to celebrate his special day, noting that Meghan will most likely pull out all the stops for her husband.

"I'm sure it'll be something very family-oriented and simple. Meghan may make a special plate of breakfast with a candle in it, or something like that. There might be a cake, probably chocolate," Jack told us.

The acclaimed gardener also noted that Harry will want to keep the day low-key, and is unlikely to post about the day on social media.

"Harry will be less inclined to post videos of himself on his birthday, but his wife will probably post a message," Jack explained on behalf of Heart Bingo Slots.

And despite Harry spending his birthday in the UK, it's uncertain whether the King will be involved on that day. However, neither King Charles nor Queen Camilla have any official duties in the diary for September 15.

"We now know he will be in the UK, but we don't know where he's going to be or even which area he'll be living in. A meeting with the King will depend on where the King is and what he's doing," Jack concluded.
