The 2026 FIFA World Cup is about to kick off!
The loyalty shown by diehard fans for their national teams is undeniably unmatched when the most prestigious global soccer tournament comes to town, but the support shown by the wives and girlfriends (WAGs) of the players just may rival it.
This year, the World Cup will commence on June 11 and feature 48 different national teams from across the globe. The tournament will take place in North America, with games being played across three host countries: the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Viewers should keep their eyes open for Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, when the Argentinian soccer legend takes the pitch to defend his team's World Cup title in what will mark his record-breaking sixth appearance at FIFA's quadrennial soccer tournament this summer.
When Portugal plays, the pitch is graced by none other than Cristiano Ronaldo, whose engagement to Georgina Rodriguez was announced in August 2025. The pair will surely shine — talent, support, her approximate 35-carat engagement ring and all!

Lionel Messi is married to Antonela Roccuzzo, whom he wed in 2017 in what was dubbed the "wedding of the century." The Argentinian soccer star's teammates were in attendance, along with Shakira and her then-partner, Gerard Piqué.
The couple met as children in their hometown of Rosario, Argentina, but didn't start a relationship until years later because the athlete moved to Spain to pursue a soccer career as a teenager. They reunited over tragedy in 2005, supporting each other as they dealt with the loss of a friend.
Messi and Roccuzzo are parents to three children, all whom make frequent appearances on the pitch to cheer on their dad. They welcomed their first son, Thiago, in 2012. Their second son, Mateo, arrived in 2015, followed by their third son, Ciro, in 2018.
In addition to being a mom, Roccuzzo has pursued several business, modeling and brand-partnership ventures through the years. She's also served as an ambassador for various sports and fashion companies.

Cristiano Ronaldo is engaged to Georgina Rodriguez, whom he first met in Madrid in 2016. The couple announced the news of their engagement with a photo of Rodriguez's "enormous" ring on Instagram in August 2025.
The pair's love story began after meeting eight years ago at a Gucci store, where Rodriguez once worked. They share their love for one another on social media often, in addition to providing glimpses into their family life with their children.
The Portuguese soccer legend first became a dad in 2010 with the birth of his first son, also named Cristiano, 15. Seven years later, he expanded his family, welcoming twins, Eva Maria and Mateo Ronaldo, now 8, via surrogate.
In July 2017, Ronaldo announced weeks after the arrival of the twins that he and Rodriguez were expecting. The pair welcomed their first baby, daughter Alana, in November that year, marking the Portuguese soccer star's fourth child.

Erling Haaland is in a relationship with Isabel Haugseng Johansen, whom he's known since their childhood growing up in the same Norwegian town. They began dating around 2021.
The pair connected long before the spotlight found the professional soccer star, who now plays as a striker for Premier League club Manchester City and the Norway national team. They were on the same club, Bryne FK, in Norway before a romantic relationship began years later.
The couple welcomed their first baby together in 2024, but keeps their family life primarily private. However, Johansen, on occasion, shares glimpses into motherhood with sweet photos of herself pushing her firstborn in a stroller on social media.

Lautaro Martínez has been married to Agustina Gandolfo since 2023. They have been in a relationship for nearly a decade, according to loved-up, throwback photos of them together on her Instagram that date back to 2018.

Through the years, Gandolfo has shared glimpses of their life together from the pitch and beyond. From posting photos of herself wearing his Argentina jersey at games to sweet PDA photos on date nights, the couple makes their love and support for each other known.
In 2020, Gandolfo shared that she was expecting her first child, daughter Nina, and announced the baby's arrival on social media in February 2021.
In August 2023, the pair shared the exciting news that their second baby, a son, was born. "One of the most exciting days of our lives. Happy to have you in our arms. Your little sister at home waiting for you to shower you with love. Now we are 4," they wrote in a joint Instagram post.

Jude Bellingham's girlfriend is Ashlyn Castro, whom he's been dating since at least early 2025, when the pair sparked romance rumors on Instagram after fans noticed the two liking each other's social media posts.
Castro was spotted alongside Bellingham's mom, Denise, in the stands of the World Cup Qualifier at RCDE Stadium in Spain in early June 2025. Later in the month, she reportedly posted a birthday tribute to the English soccer star on her Instagram Stories, including a PDA photo and a heartfelt caption.
In September 2025, Castro was seen in the crowd of the Real Madrid star's games against Atlético Madrid during the highly-anticipated LaLiga EA Sports match at Riyadh Air Metropolitano on Sept. 27.

Gio Reyna is married to Chloe Ortolano, whom he wed in Tarrytown, New York, in July 2025. The longtime couple have reportedly dated for years prior to tying the knot, having known each other from growing up in the same area and bonding over soccer.
Ortolano played soccer at Providence College, according to her athlete bio on the school's website. Prior to playing in college, the midfielder was a member of the Connecticut Football Club for the previous eight seasons.
The couple maintains a private relationship, with the professional athlete keeping his Instagram profile primarily career-focused. He's posted milestones with Ortolano, however, including their engagement in May 2024 and their wedding one year later.

Alphonso Davies is engaged to Sheyenne Jen. While the couple's relationship timeline remains unclear, with reports speculating that the pair have been dating since 2024, the influencer seemingly confirmed their engagement in January 2025.
"My favorite photo dump so far 🤍✨," she captioned her Instagram carousel on New Year's Day, leading the roundup with a photo holding what appears to be the hand of Davies while flashing her engagement ring in the shot.

In April, Jen posted a TikTok where she asked her followers to help her pick out wedding shoes. In the video, she tried on Jimmy Choo bridal heels that were adorned with pearls and another pair that were white, pointed and had a diamond-encrusted strap around the ankle.

Santiago Giménez is married to Fernanda Serrano, whom he wed in a beachside ceremony in May 2024. The pair reportedly met online playing video games during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, connected on social media and began dating.
The couple hasn't shied away from posting PDA-filled photos on their Instagrams since. In November 2022, they announced the exciting news that they got engaged with a sweet roundup of pictures and a heartfelt caption.
