- - Lamar Odom Arrested in Las Vegas and Charged with DUI

Lamar Odom was arrested in Las Vegas on Saturday, Jan. 17, on multiple charges including driving under the influence.

The former NBA player was arrested for allegedly speeding, executing an improper lane change, and driving under the influence.

According to records obtained by Us Weekly, Odom has been granted bail and is expected to appear in court on Tuesday, March 17.

Odom has previously been arrested on charges of driving under the influence in Aug. 2013. In Dec. 2013, Odom pleaded no contest to the DUI charges and was sentenced to three years' probation and three months of alcohol abuse treatment.

Odom has spoken candidly about his struggles with alcohol and drug addiction and what may have contributed to his substance abuse over the years.

“I’m pretty sure I’m probably still dealing with [childhood trauma],” Odom told Us Weekly in 2019. "We take a 12-year-old and take his mother away from him, I mean, those are words that are still healing — if they’re ever healed then I’m lucky. I’m just here to give testimony that it’s worth living," he said.

Odom had also suffered a cocaine overdose in 2015 while he was married to Khloé Kardashian. At the time, Odom was comatose and Kardashian withdrew her petition for divorce while he was in recovery.

Odom and Kardashian's divorce was finalized in 2016 and the pair recently reunited in a 2025 episode of The Kardashians.

"Lamar was and is definitely someone that I felt was the love of my life," Kardashian said in the episode. "I got married when I was 24 and although him and I got married 30 days to the day we met, I loved him with all of my heart and soul. I took my vows very seriously and I was married for about seven years. But there were bigger things that were not fixable in that marriage."
