President Donald Trump is reportedly frustrated with his Health and Human Services Secretary, and Jimmy Fallon has pinpointed the glaring problem. A new Wall Street Journal report claims Trump scolded Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for failing to deliver proof of a link between vaccines and autism. The Tonight Show host used his monologue to talk about why not.
Jimmy Fallon roasts Donald Trump’s demands from RFK Jr.
Fallon unpacked the growing tension between Donald Trump and RFK Jr. during his late-night segment. “According to a new report, President Trump told RFK Jr. he’s disappointed in him for not accomplishing more in his role as health secretary,” Fallon told his audience.
The comedian then cut straight to the core issue. “Trump is mad that RFK Jr. hasn’t produced proof for all of his medical theories… but in RFK Jr.’s defense, there isn’t any. He can’t find any!” The remark underscored decades of scientific consensus that has found no credible evidence connecting childhood vaccines to autism.
Jimmy Fallon then continued by questioning Kennedy’s suitability for the top health post, referencing the secretary’s unconventional lifestyle. “Trump said he might have made a mistake picking a health secretary who lives on raccoon meat and ZYN pouches,” Fallon joked, alluding to Kennedy’s past admissions about eating roadkill and his well-documented use of nicotine pouches.

The host imagined Kennedy’s response to the president’s broader health agenda. “RFK Jr. was like, ‘Look, no one’s eating lettuce. I thought you’d be thrilled.’ I mean, that’s something. That’s cool, right?” said Fallon.
For those unaware, The Wall Street Journal report detailed a May lunch at Donald Trump’s Virginia golf course where the president confronted RFK Jr. The former allegedly accused the latter of getting the “yips,” a sports term for sudden performance anxiety, for not thoroughly investigating the vaccine issue. The publication further reported that Trump is so consumed by the alleged connection that he steers “nearly every conversation” with Kennedy back to the subject.
