Jewel is looking back on "one of the most transformative moments" of her life in a new post.
On Sunday the "Who Will Save Your Soul" singer took to Instagram, reflecting on the time she was on the cover of Fit Pregnancy magazine in 2011, showing off her baby bump. The post also consisted of a several photos of when her son Kase, who is now 14, has been along for the ride for various moments throughout her music career.

"On this day I shared one of the most transformative moments of my life, being pregnant," she wrote of the time when she was expecting and also releasing her 9th album, 'Sweet and Wild.'
"I had to work at being pregnant," she said. "I took time off touring and let my label know I wouldn’t be able to promote 'Sweet and Wild' because my body needed time to restore and replenish after years of exhaustion, trauma, and nonstop work."
Jewel shares Kase with her ex-husband Ty Murray. The two were married for six years.
"Becoming Kase’s mom changed everything," she added. "And as I grew into motherhood, I was blown away by what women have silently done for ages—women are miraculous!"
'Sweet and Wild' went on to receive a Grammy nomination for the song "Satisfied."

Fans took to the comments both relating to the 51-year-old as a mom as well as praising the singer's album released at the time.
"I love this!!!!" one wrote. "Thank you for sharing how we can do what we love and bring our kids along."
"'Sweet and Wild' is such a good album!!" added another. "Always puts me in a good mood!!"
"I was one of the lucky fans who won tickets to see you at TexFest," a third recalled. "You were pregnant at that time. That was one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had."
While the singer rarely shows photos of Kase, her post also consisted of a video of him accompanying her on the drums during a concert, which led to fans hoping he'd make another appearance with her on stage soon.
