White went shirtless in the L.A. heat while on the hike

The pair previously reunited post-Shameless on the picket lines during the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike

Jeremy Allen White and his former Shameless costar Shanola Hampton were seen on a hike and grabbing lunch in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 2.

Hampton, 49, walked her dog as she and White, 35, hiked a trail together in L.A. The Bear star went shirtless on the hike in the California heat, before the pair grabbed coffee nearby.

Hampton starred as Veronica Fisher in Shameless, who was Fiona Gallagher's (Emmy Rossum) best friend and confidante, while juggling her own relationship with Kev (Steve Howey) and motherhood. White starred as the academically gifted yet troubled Phillip "Lip" Gallagher in the hit show, which ran for 11 seasons.

In July 2023, White and Hampton reunited with several of their Shameless costars on the picket lines during the SAG-AFTRA strike, including Noel Fisher, Isidora Goreshter, Steve Howey and Zach McGowan.

Following her time on Shameless, Hampton starred in NBC's procedural drama Found from 2023 to 2025 as Gabi Mosley, a commanding public relations specialist and crisis manager leading her own firm of private investigators, tech experts and lawyers searching for missing people the police have overlooked.

White opened up about his complicated feelings surrounding his lengthy run on Shameless in a 2022 interview with GQ.

"There was a period where I stopped feeling like an actor and I started feeling like I was just here to do this show," White said at the time. "It was an upsetting head space to be in. When it was going to end, I was questioning: Maybe I do just exist on this show. What else is there? Am I an actor? I was definitely having a lot of doubt when I was finishing Shameless."

After Shameless, White starred in 2023's emotional The Iron Claw, which details the tragedies that befell the Von Erich wrestling dynasty, and later starred as Bruce Springsteen in the biopic Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere,detailing the rock legend's creative process when recording his stripped-back album Nebraska.

White currently stars as Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto in The Bear on FX, which is set to conclude with season 5.

Season 5 of The Bear premieres on FX and Hulu on June 25.
