It’s no great secret that some styling rules were made to be broken, and it seems that Jennifer Lopez isn’t quite ready to give up her whites just yet, even though Labor Day has come and gone.

A few weeks after Labor Day weekend, the singer posed in a mirror selfie in a bright, all-white outfit. The top and bottom featured ballooning bubble sleeves and buttons down the front, which she wore open all the way down to her ribs. She added a brown leather Hermès belt cinching the waist.
As for her accessories, she opted for a few splashes of statement gold with stud earrings, a chunky pinky ring, a cuff bracelet, a watch, and a long pendant necklace. She also carried a gold clutch and wore a giant diamond ring on her fourth finger. As for her hair, she wore it in a center part, falling long behind her shoulders. She completed the look with a dramatic smokey eye and dark nude lip.

Elsewhere in the carousel, Lopez posed in another white ensemble. Sitting on the bench at a Steinway piano, she wore a long, loose white maxidress with lace trim and a tiered skirt.
“When the mood board comes to life 🦁,” she captioned the photos.
Although Lopez may not be a fan of the “no white after Labor Day” rule, she did take a moment to mark the holiday with a few selfies on Instagram. On September 7, she posed sunbathing in a maximalist patterned one-piece swimsuit that featured a mix of zebra, snakeskin, and cheetah print patterns, which she paired with a mismatched silk beach cover-up.
