Not only does it serve as the charming fictional setting for the movie, but it's also where most of *My Secret Santa *was actually filmed. Fans can find the real resort at 3150 Creekside Way in the Canadian village of Sun Peaks in British Columbia.

Originally known as Tod Mountain, the ski resort began with just the Burfield Lodge and a chairlift in the early 1960s, according to the official website. By the 1990s, it had transformed into the sprawling Sun Peaks Resort we see today. It's Canada's second-largest ski area, with 4,400 acres of skiable terrain across three main mountains: Mount Morrisey, Sundance Mountain, and Tod Mountain.

When the official trailer dropped on Friday, Oct. 17, Sun Peaks Resort took to Facebook to reveal that *My Secret Santa *was the first Netflix film to shoot at the location.

"Last winter season, we were thrilled to host the cast and crew of *My Secret Santa*. Sun Peaks proved the perfect location for this festive romantic comedy," the post read. "We look mighty fine on film if we do say so ourselves. With set locations across the village, on the mountain, and at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel, you'll see plenty of Sun Peaks in the trailer that just dropped."

Sun Peaks Resort also announced it will host a special screening of *My Secret Santa *on Sunday, Dec. 14. The resort even promised that a few "special festive guests" will be in attendance.**
