As a special New Year's gift, Ilona Maher shared a behind-the-scenes video from a recent photoshoot featuring a stunning cowgirl look and bold curly hair.

In the new clip, a hairstylist perfected the Olympic rugby player's hair while she stood in front of a desert background. Maher had on a black strapless corset and matching underwear, along with over-the-knee fringed black boots and fringed black gloves that extended to her biceps.

Lastly, the ensemble was completed with a black cowboy hat and big hoop earrings, while her makeup included bold eyeliner and a smoky eye look. A second video in the post revealed some of the process of the actual photoshoot, with Maher confidently posing as the camera snapped shot after shot.

The Olympian wrote in the caption, "My sister said even Reddit loves these so here’s my gift to you as we start 2026. Stay sexy, folks."

The rest of the post included other photos and videos from the set of the shoot, with a few showing Maher in another outfit featuring a romantic off-the-shoulder white shirt with a lace hem and an eye-catching gold corset. She posed in front of saloon doors with her hair in a half-up style.

Fans were immediately obsessed, with one cheering Maher on as they wrote, "Gurllllllll 🔥🔥🔥 make em’ ) look! (And keep em’ looking!) 💪🏼."

"Respectfully…MA’AM 🔥😦," said another, as similarly excited comments included, "Literally can’t get enough of this shoot," "I cannot even imagine someone NOT loving these!!!!!" and "WHERE WAS THE CONTENT WARNING?!"

Someone else was feeling the cowgirl vibes, replying, "Yeehaw 😍," while a different fan boldly declared, "girl you’re going to break the internet with these! Strong and healthy has never looked SO 🔥."

Maher originally shared the photoshoot, which was for Betches Media, at the start of December. In the accompanying interview, Maher talked about what it means to be part of a wave of women showing off different body types like hers.

"We’re drifting back into a culture obsessed with thinness, so seeing women choose strength and celebrate it — I love that," she said, noting that she's seen other physically strong, confident women on social media.
