- Nick Pasqual has been sentenced to 32 years to life in prison.

- The actor was found guilty May 8 of attempted murder, among other charges stemming from an incident a year prior.

- The jury found that Pasqual stabbed his then-girlfriend, makeup artist Allie Shehorn, in May 2024.

Actor Nick Pasqual was sentenced Tuesday to 32 years to life in prison for the 2024 stabbing of his estranged girlfriend.

Last month, Pasqual was found guilty of attempted murder, first-degree burglary, forcible rape, and injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or a child's parent. The charges stemmed from an attack on his estranged girlfriend at the time, makeup artist Allie Shehorn.

Through his representatives, Pasqual, who is appealing the ruling, shared a statement with ** following his sentencing.

“I remain deeply saddened by everything surrounding this case, and I continue to wish healing and peace for everyone affected," he said. "I am grateful to those who have supported me during this process, and I intend to remain focused on sobriety, recovery, accountability, and a respectful appellate process moving forward.”

In a statement provided to EW, Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman praised Shehorn for her bravery in testifying against Pasqual.

"Today’s 32 years to life sentence holds Nick Pasqual accountable for the horrific crimes he committed against someone who once loved and trusted him," Hochman wrote. "He was found guilty of multiple felonies, including attempted murder and rape, spanning from January 2024 to May 23, 2024, when Mr. Pasqual broke into his estranged girlfriend’s home and stabbed her over 20 times. Allie Shehorn miraculously survived and courageously stood before her abuser in court to testify about the brutality she endured. Her trial testimony was crucial in securing a guilty verdict so Mr. Pasqual could no longer be free to hurt anyone else. Today at his sentencing, she gave a powerful victim impact statement."

Shehorn has alleged that her relationship with Pasqual had turned abusive before the May 2024 attack at her Sunland, Calif., home. During the trial, with visible scars on her arm and neck, she took the stand to describe the incident.

"I locked the door, and he just started punching holes in that door and broke that open, and I just ran into the bathroom because I thought there's another lock on that door," she said in her testimony, as reported by ABC News.

Shortly after the stabbing, Pasqual was arrested upon being detained at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint in Texas.
