Dudley Moore was known for his musical talents and his comedic acting; the latter earned him an Oscar nomination for his starring role opposite Liza Minnelli in 1981's Arthur.
Moore's career kept him in the spotlight, but so did his romantic relationships. Throughout his life, the actor was married four times, and welcomed two sons.
"I can't think of any reason to be alive except to have a relationship with somebody," he told PEOPLE.
On March 27, 2002, Moore died of pneumonia, a complication of progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), a debilitating neurological disorder. He publicly announced his PSP diagnosis in September 1998.
Decades after his death, Moore's legacy lives on through his comedic screen roles, and the charity that honors him.
Here's what to know about where Dudley Moore's family is now.

In 1968, Moore married British actress Suzy Kendall. They would divorce four years later in 1972, but the two remained "lifelong friends," according to the BBC.
Following his marriage to Kendall, Moore wed actress Tuesday Weld, whom he said he moved to Los Angeles for, per The Independent. Their marriage lasted from 1975 to 1980.
In 1988, Moore married his third wife, Brogan Lane. They would get divorced in 1991. Three years later, he married his fourth and final wife, Nicole Rothschild, whom he divorced in 1998.
Though they never married, another significant relationship in Moore's life was with Susan Anton, whom he dated in the early '80s.
āSusan and I have been thrown together in the night for the past three years, and our relationship has been lingering on very pleasantly," he told TIME in February 1983.
"I donāt want to be married again," Moore added.

Moore's older son, Patrick Moore, was born during his marriage to Weld. He welcomed a second son, Nicholas Moore with his fourth wife, Rothschild.
According to Patrick, fatherhood did not come naturally to Moore.
"He just wasn't suited to the role of being a father," he told The Telegraph in January 2005. "But I forgive him."

Moore's sons have kept private lives since the actor's death in 2002.
In January 2005, Patrick spoke to The Telegraph about his upbringing, sharing that he experienced loneliness.
Moore's relationship with his sons became strained, partly due to Moore's illness which led him to avoid seeing Patrick. Moore later attempted to repair their relationship before his death, per The Telegraph.

More than 24 years after his death, Moore's legacy lives on through a charity honoring him.
According to Moore's official website, from 1991 until his death, Moore was the leading board member and President of the Music For All Seasons Advisory Board.
Per the website, Music For All Seasons (MFAS) "presents live, professional musical programs for people confined in facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, prisons and special institutions for children."
It was founded by Rena Fruchter and Brian Dallow, Moore's friends who took care of him during his final days.
In 1999, MFAS created the Dudley Moore Research Fund for PSP, in an effort to find a cure for the disease. In April 2001, a star-studded benefit was held at Carnegie Hall in New York City, raising money for the Dudley Moore Research Fund for PSP, according to Variety.
The fund was created in 1999, but it does not appear to be currently active.
