Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep brought fierce fashion to The Devil Wears Prada 2 press stop in Mexico City.

On Monday, March 30, Hathaway, 43, and Streep, 76, attended the Mexico City premiere for their new movie in striking Schiaparelli and Stella McCartney looks as the red carpet was transformed into a runway for the event.

Streep, who returns as Runway editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly in the sequel, wore a navy blue belted coat by Schiaparelli adorn with gold engraved buttons along the front. The outfit was paired with gold-embellished drop earrings and a structured black and gold Schiaparelli tote.

Hathaway, who reprises her role as journalist Andrea Sachs, strutted her stuff in head-to-toe Stella McCartney, wearing a pink sequined mini dress with a flared skirt and dark brown chunky thigh-high boots from the label’s Fall 2026 collection. She accessorized her outfit with silver bracelets and wore bright red lipstick.

Hathaway and Streep appeared in another selection of statement outfits earlier in the day while attending a press conference for the upcoming film.

Streep wore a striking monochromatic look: a custom red Dolce and Gabbana suit with a pussybow blouse worn underneath and red ALDO Amilie heels. She accessorized her look with a pair of gold hoop earrings and red cat-eye Emmanuelle Khanh sunglasses.

Hathaway, meanwhile, wore a black Schiaparelli dress featuring asymmetrical fringing at the skirt and a black belt with a large gold eye motif, per Who What Wear. She paired her look with black sunglasses and the fashion house’s Patent Keyhole pumps (worth over $2,000).

The duo have reunited for The Devil Wears Prada 2, alongside fellow stars of the 2006 original, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci.

The film will reportedly follow Priestly “as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and as she faces off against Blunt’s character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs.”

On Sunday, stylist Ashley Afriyie posted a photo of Hathaway paying homage to the original film as she sported a white hoodie sweatshirt with a large blue Pantone square of the color with "ceruleo" (the Italian word for "cerulean) written underneath. "#CeruleanBlue has entered the chat," Afriyie captioned the post.

The nod referred to the iconic scene from the original film in which Priestley berated her new assistant Sachs for wearing a cerulean blue sweater without knowing the history behind the item.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is in theaters on May 1, 2026.
