Laguna Beach star Lo Bosworth was in the middle of a Today interview on Friday when something went wrong. Her words were mixed with feedback.
But the situation didn't faze veteran anchor Al Roker.
"You know what, Lo?" he smoothly interjected when she stopped speaking. "Could you take your necklace and maybe just put it inside your dress? Because it's rubbing against your microphone."
"Guys, on live television?" she asked.

Bosworth immediately adjusted her jewelry and, yep, the crackling went away.
She added, "Al, I appreciate it."
And the interview continued, with Bosworth explaining that she had appeared remotely for most of the just-released reunion of the MTV show's cast, because she was very pregnant when it was filmed. (She gave birth to daughter Nelle, whom she shares with husband Dom Natale, in January.)

Bosworth especially didn't want to miss the event, she said on Today, after having missed her real-life, 20-year reunion because she was doing an IVF round.
At the TV celebration, Bosworth noted, everyone had been nervous at the start, but it was ultimately a blast.
"We just had such an unbreakable bond and trust," Bosworth said of her friendship with Lauren Conrad. "When you are in high school, your friendships really mean everything."
Conrad added of Bosworth, "As much as this was a show that had girls pinned against each other, they also showed the sweetness between a lot of us and how much you depend on that person and how much you need them to be there. So, yeah, she was my person."
In a scene filmed in the style of the show, Conrad visited Bosworth at the offices of her Love Wellness company. She brought her high school bestie baby clothes from her line at Kohl's.

Bosworth retold the Today audience the always amusing story of how she caught the attention of the Laguna Beach producers in the first place.
"Lauren and I were actually ditching class, and we had to walk past the office to get to our car to go wherever it was that we were going, and I accidentally set off my car alarm in front of the office, as the producers were walking up the street," Bosworth said. "And it was one of the first days that they were in Laguna to hand out packets to cast people onto the show. And I think Lauren and I were wearing matching [Juicy Couture] tracksuits with our crazy blonde hair and the car alarm goes off, and it just was fate, I suppose."
The Reunion: Laguna Beach is streaming on Roku.
