Things may have gotten too hot for a beloved Frozen character at Disneyland Paris.

A video captured at the park is going viral on social media showing the adorable, free-roaming animatronic of Olaf, the talking snowman character from the Frozen franchise, having a small melt down.

In the clip taken by Belgian Disney fan site Magic Tour Club, the snowman appears to stop mid-sentence before falling over backwards, sending his carrot nose flying. Onlookers gasp as cast members rush over to assist. One worker holds Olaf still as another places his nose back on. They then carefully lift the snowman and carry him to a backstage area.

“POV: you waited 30 minutes to see Olaf and then this happens,” the caption said. "Olaf just melted... literally. We didn't expect THIS to happen at Disneyland Paris. Someone get this snowman an ice bath ASAP."

Despite the hilarious mishap, Magic Tour Club showed lots of love to Disney.

“Just to be clear, we love the magic of Disneyland and all its characters, including Olaf,” they wrote in the comments of an Instagram post.“It was just an unexpected moment that made us smile – nothing but respect for the performers who bring the magic to life every day.”

Some TikTok users found the moment personally relatable. "When my social battery dies in public settings," one joked.

The hilarious clip has picked up steam across platforms. X user Georgia Coley wrote, "There is literally no funnier way I could've imagined this. Like that's it. That's the funniest possible version of how the Olaf animatronic would power off," she said in a post that garnered 215,000 likes.

Aside from his untimely tumble, Olaf has been delighting guests at the park and in videos since Disney first introduced him in November. At the time, they called the high-tech, first-of-its-kind animatronic a “brand-new innovation."

"Our latest Olaf is a fantastic example of representing an animated character as authentically as possible in the physical world — a challenging task because animated characters most often move in non-physical ways," Kyle Laughlin, SVP, Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development said in a press release.

He's even designed to take a fall without sustaining serious damage, so Imagineers foresaw the inevitable when releasing an animatronic out into the busy park environment.

The new robotic character just debuted at the inauguration of Disney Adventure World, the newly renamed and overhauled second park at Disneyland Paris. His appearance is part of the daily "Celebration in Arendelle" show.
